Salary: £37k - £40k per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week

Essential duties & responsibilities

  • General Electrical and HVAC plant maintenance

  • Maintenance / repairs / replacements of lighting / rewires /electrical testing and all general electrical duties and including all other duties including mechanical & plumbing on site.

  • Health and safety awareness.

  • To maintain on site log books, permits & site paperwork insuring they are completed and up to date.

  • The callout rota is on a rotating cycle (roughly 1 in 8 weeks).

  • This post will be based on a Mobile role, covering Predominantly Northwest.

Skills & Qualifications Required

Knowledge & Understanding

  • Knowledge of electrical systems and over 5 years’ experience in similar Electrical / HVAC/ Maintenance Engineer type role.

  • Knowledge and experience of all electrical plant including, but not limited to Air Handling Units and their associated controls, pumps, heat exchangers, boiler plant (excluding gas side pipe work and accessories)

  • Knowledge and experience of BMS control systems.

  • Knowledge and experience of all electrical installations, including wiring, testing, issuing written electrical test/minor works reports etc.

  • Ideal candidates will come from a Facilities Maintenance background and worked in similar environment.

Qualifications

  • Approved Electrical Apprenticeship is a minimum requirement.

  • Approved Electrician with 18th Edition Accreditation is a minimum requirement.

  • Testing & Inspection 2391 Cert would be beneficial to role.
